On May 1st 2018 Oxford born London UK based rapper and producer Half Decent joins forces with Quickfix Recordings for his 11th release ‘Something for the Fearless’ EP, which can be downloaded here

First single ‘Save Our Culture’ is inspired by the campaign to save the threat against music venues that were being shut down. Notably the Cellar in Half Decent’s home town of Oxford and Fabric in London. Mixing clever observational rhymes and a hard grime beat, it captures the juxtaposition of our humanity and how far away we are from it in a digital world.

The new 7 track EP is honest, thought provoking and his most confident production to date. Half Decent's innovative sound draws creative influences from artists such as Chase & Status, The Streets and Tech N9ne. Exhibiting styles from all genres close to his heart, it explores the transformation of music consumption. Expect beat and rhyme workouts and fearless observations over the most polished productions UK Hip-hop has to offer.

Half Decent has also picked up radio support from the ‘And You Don’t Stop’ Radio Show hosted by hip-hop legend Chuck D of Public Enemy and 'The BBC Introducing Mixtape', hosted by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music. Kinetic unforgettable live shows have led him to notable supports with the likes of Chase & Status, Example and MF Doom.

Music flows through his blood and it’s that intimate connection to the music that makes Half Decent so potent.
